| During one of our outing to shoot Macro subjects in Lalbagh our favourite botanical garden in Bangalore I got this beetle taking off by chance, In fact I was trying to capture this beetle sitting on the sandal wood tree [?] flower and this beetle decided to fly...and I just clicked instantly to get this in frame. |

Hi Chandra!
Luck helps the busy people... But I also believe that this beautiful picture isn't only the fruit of chance! You have captured this wonderful beetle ina perfect manner, and the colours are superb! I also like the subtle composition and the lighting. The details on the beetle are superb!
Kind regards
Markus
This is much better than what i had seen earlier, in terms of details and sharpness, but i still feel space of the left is bit too much :-)
Hi Mr. Chandra,
A nice shot of this beetle taking off. Very well composed with good details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

great capture, cool take-off shot, love the pose and the details on the opened wings and the segmented body. composition with
the pretty flowers is nice too. well done & best wishes, thor.
a very pleasing image..beetles seldom display their abdomens, you captured it perfectly, although i feel that the details are over-sharpend. tfs!
Great photo :)
