Pygmy Dartlet
Agriocnemis pygmaea
Coenagrionidae family

The smallest of the damselfly captured in my garden, one of the species under genus Agriocnemis which has nearly twenty species. I hope the ID is correct, if not please correct me.
I found few species of these tiny damselflies in our garden and they are very difficult to spot and track. This apple green color dartlet easily blends in the grass and disappears just like that. Very agile and swift fliers preys on small insects.
Hope you like my series of some damselflies which are very interesting but hard to capture.

Hello Nagaraj,
I was just on the picture of your neighbour, and now I have a look at yours..This damselfly must be really tiny and you made an excellent job to catch it. What I love are the subtle colors of your picture and of course your well chosen composition with the two grass-blades going in different directions.
