Ischnura forcipata
Coenagrionidae family

There are many species under Ischnura genus and after searching for many hours I found only one image of this species but Ischnura senegalensis (Senegal Golden Dartlet) almost looks similar. I will leave that part to experts in TN and ope my ID is right, if not please correct me.
In fact I was surprised to see this species in my backyard and happy that this one cooperated for few frames closeup. One of the beautiful and colorful damselfly that I came across.

Hello Nagraj,
Another fine damselfly capture and of a species that certainly is an Ischnura but I'm not sure which.
Excellent sharpness, POV; BG and composition too.

Again a beautiful macro capture of the damselfly! It seems that the insect is especially posing for you 'only' :)
