[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Jouvenile bird, very active. We searched the whole place for more than one hour to get a sight of this beauty.

The Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is a bird of prey species belonging to the kestrel group of the falcon family Falconidae. It is also known as the European Kestrel, Eurasian Kestrel, it is generally just called "the Kestrel".

This species occurs over a large range. It is widespread in Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as occasionally reaching the east coast of North America. The Common Kestrel is small compared with other birds of prey, but larger than most songbirds. Kestrels have long wings as well as a distinctive long tail like the other Falco species. This bird's plumage is mainly brown with dark spots. Unlike most hawks they display sexual colour dimorphism with the male having a blue-grey head and tail. The tail is brown with black bars in females, and has a black tip with a narrow white rim in both sexes. All Common Kestrels sexes have a prominent black malar stripe like their closest relatives.

Hi Satish
the sharpness and exposure are great, I can see ll details very clear of this beautiful bird.
I like the POV and the composition too but maybe it's wee much space above.
Very well done.

Beautiful juvenile, Satish.
Eventually your efforts paid off.
The emphasis is clearly on the Kestrel through your blurred background.

Hi Satish. This is an excellent close up of this beautiful bird. you have captured it with fine detail and natural looking colours. A very good pose on the branch with spot on DOF. well done TFS,
Nick..

Chikkappa,

After seeing this pic one can be sure why the Egyptians chose a raptor to be their Ra. The way it is sitting there mejastically with its chest pumped up and looking down on its prey its awesome.

Satish, This is looking beautiful. The catch light and the yellow ring on the nose make this attractive.

cute lil guy,
Good shot man :-)

Cheers,

An outstanding image of a Kestrel, Satish.
What impresses me the most is the subtle touch of yellow colour at three places on this bird's body --top of the hooked beak, around the eye and on the talons.
The plumage too is full of diverse colours and details.
A great shot, indeed.
