Hello Arjun,
WHat a splendid capture of this beautiful and proud-looking Indian Peafowl in an unusual pose with feathers folded beautifully. Excellent sharpness and brilliant colours! It stands out very nicely from the natural background. Very nice!!
I remember these from a park in Delhi where they were very noisy!

very good image. it worked because of the quality and angle of light. ofcourse your composition and timing is good. the diffused background adds beauty to the scene. why no info about lens and exposure details. Tfs.

This bird has been eluding me, Our campus has many peafowls but I have never had the opportunity to get such a superb shot. Congrats and thanks for sharing

Excellent photo wit this bird. A beautiful bird, probably the most beautiful bird in the World. The cry is unique, the nuptial parade is spectacular.

I love this bird, especially in her habitat. I have not seen this bird in her natural habitat, yet. I breed this bird in my little peafowlfarm. You can see some pictures on the www.fermadepauni.ro (means peafowlfarm in Romanian) but the english verson is not available yet. The photos are in the director GALERIE FOTO (photo gallery). I breed these bird for parks, gardens, large green domains. It is a passion not a business.

Great shot! The posture of the tail and the colours look wonderful. Good composition too.
