He waited on my garden wall without movement for more than 10 minites. All around squirrels were making a hue and cry. He then jumped into the bush after a baby squirrel. Unfortunately he was driven away by a crow pheasant.
Shikras (Accipiter badius) Shikra is a lightly built hawk foind in Indian subcontinent and srilanka.It avoids heavy forested area and prefers open shrub and grove of large trees.It preys on lizards,squirrels,small birds,mice etc.It is an inveterate chicken lifter.
