Friends,
I am continuing to look into my archives for pictures that I had taken but did not post on TN. Here is one of the pictures I liked. This bug saved our day which otherwise would have been a wasted 4 hours driving around for birds.
We were about to pack when we noticed a plant with several shield bugs. We also noticed that one of them was just emerging from its casing. It was still attached to its pupa and was beginning to drag it around along with it. After taking pictures of this, we also noticed another pair of bugs that emerged recently had already started mating.
I looked into the web for an exact classification beyond the fact that this is a specie of shield bug. Could not find an exact name. If any one has a name for this, please let me know.
I used F11 to get a better depth of field. Despite that one can spot out of focus areas among the leaf as well as the pupa.
Regards,

No justice to such a beautiful Colored Photograph.Only two points and one critic. The original intention of TN is missing somewhere.Flatering and biased critics are of no help.So my friend before posting please make sure that u give critics also to 20 felow TNians and eventually you will get back the same numbers. This is materialistic world and it runs on Give and take policy.Sorry for these harse words TNians. Is it not a reality.
Your image is nowhere less compared to good photograps. So dont be dishartened.
