[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Found this beautiful White-throated Kingfisher perched on electric wire, while driving back from Kanakapura towards Bangalore. There was a huge coconut tree in the blur background and one of its leaf stem was curved down. I have croped the sides. The picture was taken around 10am, using Nikon D80 camera with 100-300 sigma lens with 1.4 adapter. I used the car window glass edge as support.

Hi, Amar,
very good picture. and different point of view. colors are more saturated.

The colors on this kingfisher are bright - in fact, that's what caught my attention. The DOF and POV are pefect, as is the exposure.

I like the slight tilt of his head; it is as if he's curious about something, but that something is not you. Nice details of the plumage, face, and tail.

A photo to be proud of, my friend.
