Hello Smitha,

You have shown a very interesting scene in your photo. You ahev chsen very well the moment for taking it. Image has a very well chosen DOF so that the whole group of birds are sharply shown. Birds plumage makes a fine contrast with the plant they are sitting on as well as the background.

It is great to see you should now have sufficient time to spend on your favourite activities – photography and TrekNature. We missed you while you were gone and we're happy to note that you are back and that we will once again be privileged to see some of your outstanding material captured in Kerala.

This image of the Munias show great details as accomplished through the spot-on DOF. Superb exposure control ensured good lighting on the subjects. The colours are very natural and the BG is well OOF which compliments the birds and makes them stand out very nicely in the shot.

Smitha, I'm delighted on two counts; first, your re-appearance on TN and second, this wonderful action picture of a mother feeding its little ones. It is a fantastic come-back image. Thank God, we have not lost you for ever for a demanding profession!
My, what a hungry congregation of little ones looking expectantly at their mother/father for their turn! The impatience is palpable on each eager face and each of them has a character of its own.
The image is technically very high quality.

I'm also absent from Treknature much of the time, but it is good to see you here again.

This is a fantastic picture showing bird behaviour, in this case the mother feeding her young. Technically the picture is also very good. The light was handled very well. The DOF and BG is very good. Thanks for sharing and I hope we will see lots more of your pictures.

This is an image with such a lot of character to it. The facial expressions of each individual bird are priceless, and the bond they have between them are captured and displayed so well.
