Hello friends,
First of all let me thank every one for the encouragement and taking time to comment. Last Sunday I was out shooting again :) This green bee eater was a bonus, took the picture from car, holding the lens on a bean bag was very tiring. This is a shot from the series. Hope you will like it.
Thanking you
Anil

Hello Anil, Amazing shot. Now you know why we were all missing you. The talent should not go waste. I also dont see smitha posting. Please tell her that we want to see her posting too. Excellent and everytime when people present green bee eater as the name suggest it is eating something. Ganesan

Hallo Anil
I cannot pass without leaving my comment and appreciation for this beautiful photograph. Stunning image. Fantastic colours. Excellent details. Spot-on focus. Perfectly framed. What more can I say?...................Really a pleasure to look at. I am always amazed with the variety of colours of this bird, as if I see it for the first time. It creates the feeling and impression of a hand painted picture, and is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards.
Anna

Hi Anil!
How are you and how is our Principal Madam?
It was a joy to see your critique on one of my recent pictures. Sorry for the delayed reciprocation; I'm frequently stuck up in school work. No wonder Smitha is conspicous by her absence from TN!
Your image of this Bee Eater with a bee in its beak is very well composed and aesthetically a work of art. That branch on which the bird is perched is a significant part of the beauty of this composition.
Thanks for sharing this image and tell Smitha not to get bogged down in her work. We miss her badly.
Best regards.
-Ram

Hello Anil,
Well worth the patience of taking several shots from your car to achieve this fine portrait of a Green Bee-eater with its captured bee. The composition on the tip of the branch is great against a fine green bokeh BG.
Thanks for sharing this beauty and I hope you and Smitha have a good week.
Regards,
Ivan

hi anil,
how i missed this image in the first place, well captured. nice colors and lovely background. the bee-eater gone diagnol and f5.6 affected the depth of field little. usualy we see the bee-eater sitting pretty on a perch neatly with all its glory, here you got it almost in camouflaged on this branch almost becoming an extension of it. lovely. tfs.
