Hello

Continuing with the Face of Fear series (See my previous Post – ,
Face of Fear I here ).

This is the last of the series. Most of you have apparently got tired of viewing the shots…..my attempt has been to present one of the predominant emotion in the lives of all living beings through these shots.

This last shot in the series present the Little Bronzed Drongo looking helplessly and increasingly realizing that the crows that had left earlier ‘re returning.It sat there probably a fraction more of a second…by the time the crows actually got in, it had just flown out…but the air was still echoing of a life at the precipice of fear…of the fight for survival…………

a nice picture wiht good details in the black,
the plumage shimmering beautiful.
The dharpness id fine bit IMO it's a bit tight cropped.

I am glad to see you next to me and watch your nice and interesting work. Amazing scene and strong vertical cropping, excellent colour palette, exposure and colour reproduction. Details and sharpness of the image are perfect too as well as the DOF and original POV. My compliments and TFS. So creative job.

This is a very well thought out intense series...much to think about. Fear - an emotion most of us would rather not discuss but it prods so many of our actions. Thanks for 'facing fear'in these remarkable shots. :)

An interesting series. The emotion of fear is captured in the photo. I like the vertical cropping as well, but think it is too tight or confining. You picked up the colors of the bird well, focus is good, and there is good DOF.

You have come up with an interesting series. You seem to have a feeling for this bird...something that shows only in your pictures, through your words. What you have done is taken a series of shots and created a single moment with all of them. How very complex and yet interesting. I enjoy the way you thought this through.

nice action capture with the beak open, doesn't look afraid to me though. good focus and great colors, very hard to get details on a black bird.

The "+++" : original composition, subject, pose, POV, colors, sharpness, details in feathers, DOF, exposure...
The "-" : nothing...

The "daring" close vertical comp works well here Iris, good detail & DOF. Great colors and exposure also, one can see the metallic "bronzed" look very nicely along the wing :)
