A wonderful dedication to Ram and a beautiful Bronze Drongo. An excellent capture of this handsome bird. The pose is wonderful and the expression on his face is priceless. Excellent colors, fine details and a superb composition. I would love to see him in real life.

This is such an interesting looking bird. It looks as if its head feathers somehow have been curled. A delightful portrait of a most charming bird. Good composition with great details and colours. Focus, sharpness and depth of field are just right. I really like this image of this bird unknown to me. It displays well and is a lovely close-up. The colour of the plumage is really special. Thanks for sharing this dedication to Ramthakur with us.

Congrats for the new lens!
The image is little tightly composed, you should have left some more space (right side).
A profile of the bird would have been better, you could have waited (as you mentioned the bird's tolerence). I wonder why the background is not totally out of focus. Don't use aperture priority, choose aperture manualy for better results.

I don't have the insight to speak technical facts.. but here this inspires me a lot..
Every image has it's own magical moods.
The moment, the approach, the technics, the insight, the vision.. and the concept.. when all juxtapose to ONE, the image is born... and a sigh in the image maker...

Hello Anil,
I have tried to capture a Bronze Drongo in Goa, but the result was useless as it was too much in the shade. Here you have made a fine ambient light capture showing the iridescent plumage with fine sharpness and detail. The pose and composition are excellent too.
All of which make it a superb shot and a very suitable tribute to our friend Ram.
