Hello Friends,
this was captured near Pallikaranai marsh, Chennai.
They were found six feet above ground. Using flash was unavoidable though there was bright day light. They were in thick foliage.
Image was converted from RAW to JPEG.

Update: 12/2/2008
After a search in the internet I got some clue of this bug.
It is an "Assassin Bug".[Family :Reduviidae ,Genus : Heza(may be) ].I need help for further classification.

Very leggy characters, these mating bugs, KV.
By using fill flash, you have captured very good details on the subjects.
The big leaf serves as an apt BG.

Hi Vral,
I can't help with ID but I think that this is a sharp and well composed macro. Flash has created some little OE spots on the leaf but bring out some nice details on the insect. Well seen!
