Friends,

This shot has two significance.

1. I am coming back to TN community after a gap of 45 days.

2. I happened to visit my childhood village after a gap of 26 years.

I was in no mood to shoot this fella as I was getting ready to catch my flight from Chennai. On hearing my passion one small girl told me that she saw a dragon near the bush. Probably she was right for her it was a little dragon. I obliged her, may be my beginning and it was to happen to start my innings again in TN.

I will catch with the critics late in the evening today.

Somehow the Gardern Lizard in the northern part of India and the Souther Part of India is different in colors and skin pattern. I will post a detailed one later.

This Garden Lizard from Tamilnadu is quite different from the ones we see in north India, Ganesan.
Welcome back after your visit to your native place. Hope you enjoyed it.

Welcome back - it's so good to see you posting again. What a nostalgic trip this must have been. I'm sure the little girl really thought this Lizard WAS a dragon. Nice shot on the run. I love the pose, the great details of the eye and skin, and the wonderful colors. The pink throat is beautiful.
