This is a Picture wing. This is one of my most loved picture, because of lighting. I like it very much for the composition also. I hope you also like it. If so, please comment and share your views.

The lighting was falling on only the wings, and the Bg was slightly dark. I made it little more darker.

Aah, what a splendid capture of a dragonfly in silhouette, with finely back-lighted wings in sharp focus Satish, thanks to the OOF dark BG, this is a rarely seen "low-key" composition, TFS indeed my friend.

Hello Satish Bhai,
I missed you during recent trip.
The light on the wings looks like a golden flash. Superb. Looks like english dancer on the stage and doing polo. The dark BG actually makes the fly standing out. Ganesh

Satish, it appears as if the sun is obliterated by the wings of this spectacular Dragonfly. Most dramatic effect, indeed, and worth falling in love with.
To say the least, the image has a great artistic value.
I remember how excited I was when I had my first glimpse of this species in Mumbai in 2005.
