| During monsoon it is so humid that everything is prone to having fungi developping on it...i really dont have any knoledge in mycology so i dont know what these are!!! |

This is a very nice composition, Laurent. I like the way the "umbrellas" stick out of the trunk on parallel planes. You handled the whites very well, and the details are sharp. Great job.

Excellent nature shot recording the existence of this kind of fungi on a rotten piece of wood in Goa during monsoons.

Hi laurent,
You need to keep in mind that fungi have two sides top and a bottem. It helps if you wont an ID from a photo to show us both sides a spore print would be very usfull to.
I suspect the fungus is Polyporus arcularius I have never seen such a large grouping well done.
