[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Goa the most common Mynah seemed to be this species instead of the Common Mynah that is more common in the rest of India.
Contrary to its name it spends most of its time in the open, searching the fields for insects and other invertebrates. When we visited the jungle in the Western Ghats we didn't see a single Jungle Mynah!
This shot was digiscoped at a distance of about 30 meters and this individual was part of a flock in a bush next to a paddy field where they had been feeding.

Hi Ivan,

Lovely shot, great pose and composition, the detail is nice and sharp, I like the lovely natural colours too. Do these Mynah birds mimic language, I once met one at a Garden Center that had very colourful language.
