The Grey Heron!!
this snap was taken on Narara island marine trail. Narara island has a kilometers wide continental shelf that gets completely exposed during low tide. the mudflats so formed are a treasure for this heron and many other waders. this grey heron is resting patiently on this rock waiting for some prey to come in vicinity..
i appreciate his patience as it gives me a good oportunity to click a snap!! |

Hi Vihang, I really like this picture with such a great light. I like the background, a little bit blurred but just enough so we see the environment where the heron is fishing. Thanks to its patience, we are there to now enjoy this wonderful place with a beautiful bird. I love the colours well saturated by the light and the white spot the heron does. Thank you!
