Hi Dolly,
Very artistic focus! The flowers seem to float. Colors are beautiful too. I like the grainy touch of the background
Very well done and TFS
and also welcome on TN
Hi Dolly,
Welcome to the wonderful world of TN. You have chosen a flower as your very first posting here, that shows your interest in flowers.
The composition and point-of-view of the picture is very good. The depth-of-focus you have chosen is superb. The flowers are beautiful. And I hope to see many more similar beautiful pictures from you.
The quality of the picture, though, is a bit poor. This is perhaps because you have digitized it by scanning from a negative or a print. Normally, it is very difficult to get a good quality from a scanned picture than directly from a digital camera. X-700 is a great film camera, but the kind of film processing most of the labs do is simply pathetic. With a digital camera, you have everything under your own control. Moreover, in long run it will turn out to be cheaper too. So, I suggest you to go digital as early as you can. Till then, please do not stop. Do keep sharing your pictures.
Regards and best wishes,
