[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello Friends, I am posting after a long time thanks to busy schedule and shifting of my office to new place.Here are posting my first successfull picture of lightening. I had read here on TN that for these kind of pictures one needs to have TRIPOD, PATIENCE and LOTS OF LUCK. I had only third ingredient. It was taken in May which marks the premonsoon rain in Maharashtra with thunders and lots of lightening. I was on one months leave for my marriage. That was the first day of lightening and as usual electricity was gone. Me and my brother were resting in a shed next to our home.. The sky blacked like hell. I rushed home and brought my camera , placed it on a fence, hurried adjusted the shutter speed and clicked (with 10 sec as automatic click). I was so execited to see the results that , i missed lots of lightening. But my luck was on high and i got some good pictures. This one is the best of that. Hope you will like it as well.I dont know how the pink shade was introduced.

Hi Mahesh,
In fact, this posts are so uncommon here.
And as I can see, you had LOTS of good luck, because the image is so great!
The form of the lightening couldn't be any beter, in terms of the composition. I like so much the way it spans all over the sky.
The colour of the sky is also amazing, it adds drama to the scene.

Dear Lucky,

You did great. I'd be thrilled with that shot too. I like the color of the sky. Were you tilting the camera upwards causing the trees on both side to tilt toward the center? I'd be tempted to skew the image straight but that might affect the lightning.??
