[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo is not taken in the wild. Its taken in the zoo. I really don't want to upload this on TN but I could not resist myself in doing so due to his pose.

Looking at the pose, I feel that he is just thinking about his real home and memorizing those old days that he might have enjoyed before getting trapped in here!

I think that if we do not save the tigers in India our grand kids will surely have to see them in zoo or in books and videos.

Argus, anel, uleko, siggi, Noisette, goldyrs, boreocypriensis, pierrefonds has marked this note useful

Hello Kedar,
I see we are neighbours!
I usually try to avoid zoo pictures but you make point here with this appealing shot of a Tiger!
It does seem like the only future for these magnificent beasts is in zoos or at the best in national parks as the pressures of our growing population put so many plants an animals under threat and the most threatened are the big predators like the Bengal Tiger. Sad but true!
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan

Hello Kedar,
Looking at your gallery we can see that you like tigers a lot. And I understand that you have been touched by the way this tiger looked at you.
It really speaks to us through its eyes. Well composed picture, just a little lack of sharpness, but such an emotional shot!
Thanks alot
Anne

Hello Kedar,
We've lately been watching a film with David Attenborough about Tigers in India - fantastic - and I really wish all could be protected in the wild like those were. Many large animals just seem soooo bored in a Zoo and I feel so sorry for them. I think this one is bored too but your capture is very nice!
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hello Kedar,
Very good portrait of this magnificent animal. Your capture has good sharpness of details, great color and superb eye contact.

Hi Kedar,

Any tiger shot needs to come here, Kedar, coz even if it is caged, it's still a wild animal!
I love this shot, it is so sad, so touching!
Bravo!
Goldy

A very fine portrait of the Tiger, Kedar.
Shooting animals in a zoo is okay so long as they are not caged. I can see that this one is not.
The subjects looks relaxed and somewhat curious about the actions of the photographer :).
Well done and TFS.

Nice posture of the tiger. Good pov and composition. It would have been even more beautiful if it were sharply focussed, anyways, a beautiful shot of the majestic beast.

Namaste Kedar, a nice portrait capture of this zoal beauty:) having a nice facial expression from nice POV with delightful composition.
TFS and cheers,
Bayram

Hello Kedar,
nice composition and colors, but I feel it fails on sharpness.
Regards
Nazir

Kedar, this is such a beautiful shot. You did a great job capturing this although it is out of focus. Have a wonderful week, Bill

Hello Kedar.

Thank you for that nice picture from a big cat. Big, pretty and terrible, as often in the wildlife. Anyway, we must be respectful on it.

Very good composition of the picture. You've caught its glance in a wonderful and very expressive way.

Many thanks for that picture.

All the best.

Philippe

PS. for the sharpness, may be could it be improved by software (see it in the WS, with your autorization).

Hi Kedar,

I like the way you framed the tiger. The point of view view is showing the sad expression of the tiger. It is also showing the details and colors of the animal. The light has a good effect on the colors. have a nice day.
