I called this photo The Answer...why?
Because having one of my beautiful tigers walking directly towards me without fear or uncertainty, is like the answer to one of my greatest prayers.
Since I was 9 years old, when a wonderful teacher read William Blake's poem Tyger Tyger to me and my classmates, I have dreamt of going to India to see my beautiful tigers. I have realised my dream many times over, which is a great thing to be able to say for any ordinary man.
To see Ilu walking towards me when I took this photo was like recieving a huge life bonus.
On top of realising my life's ambition, I also see my dreams come true, right before my eyes and through the magic of digital image capture I can share that moment with my friends on this wonderful site.
Let me tell you this...there is nothing else on Earth that can even come close to the moments that I have spent with my tigers.
Everything else in life just becomes ..second rate...
I am just an ordinary human being from a, materially poor background and when I think of my childhood and the fact that my parents had very little to give me except their love and guidance I am pretty amazed that I have actually realised my ambitons.
It makes me proud to have done so, not every man is able to and I know that my parents would have been very proud of me also, if they had been here to see what I have done with my life.
To have walked where wild tigers walk is the greatest privilege that I could ever desire.
To have been in their presence is so much more.
Regards

Roy, Lovely capture, Could be a little sharper, but frankly, I could not have held the camera steady enough to get a shot Like this, well done, I like that you capturde his eyes, he is acutly aware that you are looking at him ... could open the the view opton so I can't tell how far away you are. Close enough, I take my own risks but wild life is wild. Recenly some teenages were teasing a tiger at the San Franciscxo zooo, it got out of it's enclosure killed one and mauled two others.

Hello Roy,
Just marking,
Mariki
Hello Roy,
He looks very purposeful, on a mission!
I'm not sure how close you are, perhaps you are his mission.
It takes great bravery and a very cool head to be so close and maintain the purpose to film the animal.
A great, detailed and nicely coloured shot.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
