| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is Machali taking a well earned rest on one of the dusty old roads of Ranthambhore National Park.
Now we all know where her son Cheeky Boy picked up the habit that got him his name.
That deadpan expression on her face shows just how unconcerned she is about stopping us in our tracks.
Machali is too old in the tooth and too used to the vehicles that take tourist around the park roads, to be bothered moving out of their way.
She is totally respected by all the drivers, guides and park rangers and if she decides she will block the road then we will just have to wait for her to decide she has rested enough.
It is never a problem to find your route blocked by Machali or any of the other tigers for that matter.
It is always a pleasure to be in their presence though, no matter what the circumstances.

Beautiful capture of this magnificent tiger in her natural environment.
Intersting and funny note too - it's so nice that the tigers are respected like that.
TFS :)
amazing and impressive, TFS Ori
Hi Roy!
I'm loving your tiger photos, and this one is no exception.
Very nice framing of the subject and details!
I did a small workshop to adjust some highlights and shadows, hope you like it!
Thanks for sharing these, and keep em coming!
Regards,
Johannes
