Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a mere 65 kms. from Udaipur.
Pali and Udaipur districts have, since ancient times, been the rainy season pasture for thousands of camels.
I entered the sanctuary from the Kumbhalgarh Fort and cutting across the sanctuary reaching Ghanerao, and then borders an old abandoned road. On this road, besides the camels, one can sight Chinkaras, Neelgais, four horned Antelope and many birds. |
