It is wonderful to watch nature and even better when we can capture that moment that made us want to take that photo in the first place.
You are just a little to far away for your photo to have impact and for us to see any detail in the bee eater. Have you tried cropping in on your photo to bring the bee eater closer, I think that would help some.
I am not familar with your camera, so not sure what size your photos are as to the quality after cropping. Keep an eye out to try again and maybe this time zoom in if you have a zoom lens and try to fill your frame a little more with your subject.
