Nice pose.
Interesting note. What a culture difference. In Europe mice are seen as a pest and poison are to be found in all supermarkets.
The enormous balls are drawing much of the attention but are blur. Focusing there would cause the eye to be blur instead which would be a pity. More DOF would cause the people behind to be less blurred which would be a pity too. Ideally if the mouse was rotated a little so that the balls and the eye would have been in a same focal distance, you would have got the best result.
