| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Spotted Deer is the most commonly found member of the deer family in India. It is found across the entire country except in the extreme northern regions.
The spotted deer, have been introduced from Indian main land after the 1920s by the Britishers. In the absence of large predators, they have become pests in some places.
The traditional arch-conservative aboriginal Andamanese will not hunt and eat the newfangled animals despite their perfectly edible meat.

I love how close you get to this animal. Were you hiding behind the tree? Whatever worked out worked fine. It is a nice balance and blending of colors on a type of deer which I have never seen!
