[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Typically, I am unable to identify this colourful insect. This was photographed in my garden in Chennai. Over to the TNers! Many thanks, Ravi

Please note: ".................
It's a Weevil (Curculionidea, family attelabidae ), which you can tell from the angled antennas, amongst other criteria. It looks very much, except for the color, like the european Apoderus coryli. So it might be a member of the genus Apoderus, but I do not have the relevant literature to go even that far with certainty...
Best wishes
Philippe"

This is a very cute little guy, and you captured it well.

Hi Ravi,
Composition, colors, focus, sharpness, POV are very nice. The shallow DOF makes the bug stand out very well against the background. TFS
Best wishes,
Selen
