Thanks for looking at my recent picture and writing your kind critique on it, Mayuresh.
I have had a look at your pictures just now and find them quite attractive as mountain scapes. I see you have begun with Heaven on Earth -- Kashmir.
I belong to a region in Himachal contiguous to J&K, namely, district Chamba. The areas bordering with J&K in my native place bear a strong resemblance to the view you have captured here from Gulmarg. I had the privilege of visiting Gulmarg and Pahalgam only once -- way back in 1988 when the state was free from its present troubles.
I was convinced that there is no exaggeration in the conviction that Kashmir is a veritable heaven on earth.

I notice this is below tree line, ane the field is already fresh green in the middle of May...

Hello Mayuresh,
this shot has alot of depth, and a nicely saturated foreground. The line of trees in the forground is echoed nicely in the background too, and i like the composition alot. I think a grad filetr would've made this good shot in a VERY good shot though, keeping more detail in those wonderful mountains in the distance and those clouds too. A fine peice of work noentheless!
