Wow,
These are beautiful creatures - the colors and pattern is spectacular.
Composition is very nice with this couple there.
Maybe cropping a bit from the lower part will put the nymphs in a more central place in the frame.

This is indeed a GREAT post. They are so very BEAUTIFUL and yet so very dangerous to our food source. I've seen locust in swarms,when in India. They settled on a field and ate everything within minutes.
Well controlled colours.

I thought I had already commented on these but was mistaken.
They certainly are the most rtemarkable creatures.
The colours and patterns are so striking and your shot has captured them beautifully.
I would love to find cretures like this in New zealand but most of ours are either plain green or brown, or green and brown ;)
