This is a fabulous image of this Egret. The detail is superb. What a fantastic in flight capture, the bird looks great against the perfect blue of the sky. Nice.

Hi Rathika

A great shot of this “moon bound” bird. The breading plumage makes this normally pure white bird so much more attractive and colourful.

You did excellent work to capture the bird in full flight and with so much detail. The exposure was well managed and even though you say it was cloudy day you managed to gain exceptional shutter speed at 1/2000 seconds to freeze the bird in mid-flight. The composition is also nice with the bird spreading its wings basically on the diagonal line.

Perfect composition. You took the right decision to use the blue sky as the background. The fact that you could get such a close up with just 200mm lens indicates that you were close to it. You did a good job of keeping the bird at the right place within the frame.

Hi Rathika! Like the herons...they seem quite majestic when they are in full wingspan.I am glad you captured it with wings out like this. How they get there is the funny thing, because they are so lanky.
