This small restless olivegreen bird with whitish underpart and rust coloured crown is a common visitor of backyard garden or outlaying scrub jungles.In Bengal the bird is called, 'Toontooni'and a populer hero of many fairytails and fun-stories, where the bird's wit helps the good characters of the story. In North-east region another variety also found named Dark-necked Tailorbird.
