Weaver Ant
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the continuation shot of the same weaver ant shot at my garden.
The ant you are seeing here is a queen ant which lays larvae & the other community ants build the web around these larvae to protect from weather & enimies.
You can see in this picture that the queen ant is staring at me while I was trying to shoot it.
The parental care of this insect amazed me. Every time I there was a flash light from my camera, the ant was lifting its head & staring at me very furiously.
I am realy amazed with the nature around me.
Thanks,
Sudhakar |

Hi Sudhakar,
Stranger and at the same time beautiful insect!
Excellent contrast and alive colors.
Very good sharpness and POV.
Congratulations for the wealth of details.
Well done!
Best regards,
José Roberto
