LIME BUTTERFLY(Papilio demolus)
It is also known as Lemon Butterfly, Citrus Butterfly, Lime Swallowtail and Chequered Swallowtail. It is the most common butterfly throughout the country, especially in plains than wooded regions and hills. It is seen on the wings throughout the year in quick and strong flight. It aggregates in hundreds in mud puddles with closed wings to drink water. It visits flowers of all citrus, radish, curry leaf etc. It is the regular migrant during October to February in Sri Lanka and South India. |

Ganesh, You got the butterfly fluttering! It is very difficult to capture this action because one always ends up in blurred pictures. Here you got the eyes in sharp focus with the rest of the body moving as a result of fluttering. Great picture.

Terrific subject. Very nice pictured scene. I like perfectly selected POV and DOF, wonderful colours of the picture and excellent composition of the image. BG is tremendous. Only one point is not the best. It is long exposure time. However, excellent experience. My best wishes and TFS.
