| I was trying to take shots from under the shrub [Mexican hat] which has made a nice canopy. Shots from here are not easy as it is all shade and you can't focus either due to the twigs criss-crossing all over above. But this Purple-rumped Sunbird [Nectarinia zeylonica] chose this young twig drooping at the end of a branch, slightly outside the shady area, but this had to end up in silhouetting due to the brighter light outside. On uploading to PC, I saw there is something interesting in this shot. It here for you to see. Except cropping, no editing is done. I tried to remove the black area [a leaf] in the bottom right, but left it alone. |
