Blue Tiger

This is a Blue Tiger having a go at the Mexican Flame Vine flower. Seems to like this! I had to use a fill flash as the shady area was towards me - shade from a Polyalthea longifolia tree very close to it. He was there for me to shoot a few pictures using macro zoom. I could not go closer to try a real macro, but it was higher for my reach and there was danger of me disturbing the vine and hence the insect.

Hello Dinu,
I saw the Blue Tiger in a butterfly house. Very nice butterfly shot here. Good POV, sharpness and very nice colours. This is a good composition. Thank you.

Hello Dinu,
very clear and precise details, a perfectly clean background by shooting against the sky, and a well balanced composition, very nicely reduced to the minimum. High precision result with truly artistic appeal.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
P.S.: Fill flash worked fine here but could have been even stronger. Increasing contrast by little postwork might further increase the impact. Certainly a matter of taste - but please see workshop.
:)
Very nice composition. Good colours. TFS.
