This picture was taken from the roadside near the foot of Chamundi Hill here when this fella was scratching his head with his foot even when his hand was available for that job!
These are abundantly found here co-inhabiting with humans. Rhesus Monkeys are found living in well-knit groups. They can create a nuisance in human localities as they know how to open the tap to drink water [but not close it back]. They knew how to enter houses by removing the tiles on the roof [of course, RCC and grilled windows have prevented them now]. They can loot anything. They can snatch food packets from the baggage or hands of passersby. |
