Close-up of a buutterfly. i don't know the name of this species. i am still learning how to photograph these beautiful beings. this particular one did allow me to come within a distance less than 5cms.

Wow, first of all, welcome to treknature! A wonderful macro that allows me to see his face and the tiny details of his legs. Nice contrast, good depth of field, and terrific point of view. Again, welcome.

Hi Manoj,
This looks like Spalgis epius to me. I have seen it in other parts of SE Asia, but not in India. This is a very intersting point of view, which shows the head and eyes very clearly. It could probably benefit from a little sharpening and a small increase in brightness. I'll maybe do a workshop and post in a day or so. Thanks.
