[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a Bumble bee darting from flower to flower in search of nectar. Would not sit, nor stay at a flower for more than a few seconds. So had to set the focus on Auto-continuous and SS on 1/1250. To my surprise, also bagged an ant as bonus prize in the pic.

Ciao Kiran,
non è facile fare una buona foto di insetti in volo.
Tu sei riuscito molto bene a realizzarla.
Complimenti,
Marcello

Hi Kiran,

Hi Kiran. A good clear shot of the bee you also have an ant having a look in. good detail and rich colours. A nice POv/DOF. well done TFS.
Nick..

I'm not familiar with insects from india. Nebertheless this one looks pretty much like the carpenter bees we got here (see example here: http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=115344)and not much like bumble bees. You might want to check for ID.
In flight insects are so hard to capture. Fantastic shot.
