Deer of Ranthambore
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| We didn't see a Tiger at Ranthambore National Park, but we saw a lot of other animals. For example this majestic deer with very symmetric antlers. He was just looking in our direction for a second, then continueing his way to the forrest. |

Hello Oki
Excellent shot of a beautiful animal.
Ranthambhore is a fantastic place.
I am sorry you missed the wonderful tigers there but, if it is of any consolation, they will certainly have seen you.
Thanks
Regards

Hi Oki,
I think this is the Sambar deer (I might be wrong though). These are difficult to photograph as they run away immediately. You have done well to capture it.
Hi Georg,
A very nice capture of this Sambhar deer. Excellent detail and very nicely composed. A little bit more info about this species will be very good. Hope you enjoyed the Incredible "INDIA". Thanks a lot for sharing.
