the bees and wasps are already at it in India eg Pankaj...and you along with Sumon are mates in my own personal gallery today, perhaps not in large gallery...but it is appropriate in my mind which is why I try to keep you both close together in natural image chapters of Indian insect world. And although this is not a good sting for me, it does sharpen my eyes...very nicely done.

First of all, thank you for the simple but true definition of a wasp... Very interesting!

You did a very interesting picture here of this reddish wasp... Red is not a common color we see here for wasp in North America and I like the contrast she has with the nice color of the flower...

Excellent POV, DOF (f/16's good choice!) and focus...

Very good macro you did! Excelent cromatic in your photo with good contrast between flowers and wasp body. Good DOF and therefore nice clear details of insect as well as flowers.
