Wow! What a colorful bird! It makes me crave for coming to Boothathankettu. I am amazed at how you were able to hold the camera steady at 1/60 seconds while shooting with 300mm tele. Even though the shake shows a bit, it has not lessened the beauty of the picture. Kudos!

Sorry I missed this one.I'm not bothered about the noise in the background since I can't spot it. In fact, I find the details very clear and the image perfectly sharp insofar as the subject is concerned, which also happens to be very cute.But what I love the most is the 'glint' you've caught in the eye of this cute subject.

This is a fine capture of a male Blue-throated Flycatcher and considering the poor light the sharpness is pretty good so that we can enjoy the splendour of this spectacular birdset in a great POV and pleasing composition.

If ever I had an aviary in my backyard (not that I necessarily endorse or support the idea of keeping birds in cages, but just hypothetically) I'd surely would love to have some of these beauties in attendance. Isn't it just an amazing little bird?

I appreciate the fact that you have done justice to the beauty of this dainty passerine. There is a softness (not reflecting to the focus, but of the mood) to the image yet the vibrant colours bring out the evident fairness in its physical appearance. You are really working hard in covering the roads less travelled to find all these amazing subjects to show to us and it does not go unnoticed. I like this composition as you gave ample space for the bird to gaze into or move in to. The details are nice and sufficiently sharp and I just love the interesting tri-spot highlights in the eye.
