This picture of the Spot billed pelican was taken at Lingambudi lake during the roosting season. The trees in the background was where these giant birds were building their nests.

Here we see the huge span of the wings of this bird, one of the largest birds ever!

What a splendid in-flight picture of a fine bird. You managed to catch a very impressive moment and did it perfectly. Great timing, excellent wide DOF and superb sharpness of the image. BG is well detailed and decorate the scene excellently. My best wishes and TFS.
