Hello Friends
This is a shot of Common Leopard(Phalantha phalantha) from Nymphalidae family in motion. Hope you like it :O)

Habits

Sun loving and avoids shade. Seen in the plains, gardens and edges of clearings. Has active and sharp flight movements. Visits flowers regularly especially Lantana, Duranta, Meyenia laxiflora, Gymnosporia montana and thistles. Often seen mudpuddling from damp patches in the ground, either alone or in groups. A regular basker with wings spread wide open. It is commonest in dry areas and dry weather and absent from the wetter parts of India during the monsoon. It often perches on edges of clearing with wings half open and has the habit of chasing away other butterflies and guarding its territory.

Excellent shot with beautiful colors, contrast and a dull glow to it. The flowers are very well captured and the OOF BG is working very well for the subject.
A very unique capture of the butterfly in motion through a great POV.

Hi Fartash.
I like this very nice scene and interesting effects created by selected DOF and may be by flaps. Diagonal composition is so impressive as well as the warm colours and blurred BG. My bets wishes and kind regards.

There is that ethereal look once more...You have two definite ways of taking images...one is spot on and so noted, the other releases a much deeper quality as an aura of the point of focus...and I do tend toward the later myself:-) when it is done "right" as you have done here.
