This was in the middle of our Safari, it started to rain, not cats and dogs, but elephants:)
On this trip alone, I saw nothing less than 400 elephants.... in herd sizes ranging from 3 to 60.
And that with the landscape, was a superb combination!
Thanks for looking...

I am still trying to figure out how you do this technique in imaging...You have a 5 megaP camera...but there is an almost abstract way of presentation which surely must be done in PP. And in the way you do it, it does not subtract from the overall presentation. Very nice and very unique!

Hi Goldy, this is a very well composed landscape image of this wonderful place. Very good detail of the cloud cover. I like the tonal variations of the moutain layers. Wonderful to have seen so many elephants here. Tfs Richard

Hi Goldy,

A wonderful sight of these gloomy, ominous clouds above the mountains. Not what you want while on Safari. I know they're not in this scene but I can visualize all those elephants roaming about. How magnificent that must have been!

Jane

Hi Goldy, I like the composition here with the way you have split the scene between sky and ground, and I like the colour. I find the scene however a bit soft, especially in the vegetation in the foreground. I compared this with some of the other shots you took in Jim Corbett National Park. All I looked at were taken at F4, with various speeds so I don't believe it's the aperture that's causing this. Did you crop this down tighter?

Thanks, John

Hi Goldy, what a wonderfull clouds in a very impressive landscape, excellent work,my best compliments for the note, thanks for share,Luciano

The image quality is not your usual Goldy, the bad weather must of made it difficult..The elephants are difficult to make out.

Howard

Hi Goldy,
huge amounts iof mood in this..i can imagine how atmospheric it must have been. Detail looks a bit fuzzy in this one, but the composition more than makes up for it!

Dear Goldy,
I can well imagine what you must had gone through at Dhikala. Though the image is not sharp but tells you exactly about the event, and thats what they are mend for. Cheers & TFS.

Hi Goldy, beautiful landscape with fantastic sky, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello Goldy,
A dramatic sky is hovering over the landscape, probably giving a warning about worse weather to come!
I like the division of the frame with emphasis to the sky, however sharpness could be better this time...
Greetings,
Pablo -
