This time both the hoverfly and the flower captured from a vertical POV Ram, which rendered both of them finely in focus, thanks to the relatively deep DOF. A beautiful central composition my friend, TFS indeed!

Skipper Hoverfly Ram! what a name...the flower is also very delicate and small. i am seeing more of this type of ground cover flower. Today I imaged quite a number of them.
Well then as to the Hoverfly, well noted as you do sir! And you seem to have a very nice aperture setting for the details!

A lovely macro shot, Ram!
This little hoverfly seems to be enjoying the nectar from that flower very much :-)
I love how the lines in the petals lead the eye straight to the fly.
Excellent central composition and bird's-eye POV.
