| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| After a considerable gap, today I went out with my friend, who wanted to test his new 2x teleconverter. We went to a stream on the outskirts of Banglaore looking for some birds when I saw this dragon fly. They hunt insects using a perch to which they keep returning, taking my position carefully I took a couple of usual images (profile) and when it returned to the perch pointing its tail towards the lens, well you are seeing the result. |

Hello Nagraj,
This must be the most unusual dragonfly shot that I have ever seen!
Seen from the front it could be an illustration of the species, but seen from behind it is a work of art!
TFS this beauty,
Ivan
