[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The most dangerous crature I have met till now. Locally called Bhura scorpion, its poison is toxic enough to kill humans. There were a few people around it, so it got confused which way to attack, and enabled me to take this shot without geting stung by this deadly predator!

Shot taken in bandhavgar national forest. The local village people told me that people die of its sting since they do not have access to proper treatment! But even then they did not want to kill it, only wanted to cut off its sting. May be that will kill it in any case. I tried to save the scorpion, but one cannot argue with people who die of its sting due to lack of proper treatment!! In the end they took the scorpion and released it away from their home.

Very cool shot. With the exception of that blur at the top, as previously stated, this pic is great. The looming shadow makes him seem huge.
