This was taken at Omkar Hills along with Mr.Sathish, MR.Goutham & IBM friends this Sunday.

This is the "Common Pierrot" (Castalius rosimon), which is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the Lycaenids or Blues family.

Hi shekar,
I can appreciate your effort though it fell little short. a vertical frame, controlled exposure and bit of cropping would have done better for the image.

This is a better processed image, compared to your earlierones. Nicely composed, but little more verticle cropping would have emphasised on the tiny insect.

Beautiful small b-fly..You have good detail/DOF, POV, color, and exposure, a pleasant scene..
Perhaps a bit too much space top? Subjective of course.

Wonderful shot of this great looking Common Pierrot in a fabulous pose up there. Very impressive sharpness, colours and details and you have handled the lighting and exposure pretty well here. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.
