Purple Sunbird Nectarinia asiatica(Latham).
This was taken yesterday,the bird we call"Pu-kudichan" means honey drinker.
This is female bird,male bird metallic dark blue and purple color.Female brown toolive brown color.
Don"t know its good to post without head,but the bird was so quick it came near flower and started doing her job,dint get time to take with head shot :(.
This one i find rare seems hiding her head.Tommorrw i will post male bird shot.
